Apply for CPA Funding

FY 2026 CPA FUNDING APPLICATION CYCLE 

Before applying for Community Preservation Act (CPA) funds, please read the entire CPA application package, which includes the: 

• CPA 5-Year Plan
• CPC Application Manual
• Application Evaluation Matrix

Project Eligibility Forms are accepted on a rolling basis. All applicants must schedule time to discuss their project with the Community Preservation Coordinator during CPA Clinic Hours, prior to submittal of their Project Eligibility Form. CPA Clinic Hours

If you have received notification of eligibility or have a phased project and are permitted to submit an off-cycle application, you may complete and submit the CPA Funding Application. Before preparing your CPA Funding Application, thoroughly review the Submission Requirements Checklist to gather the information requested on the application form and the required attachments applicable to your project. Plan accordingly to ensure you meet the October 16, 2025, application deadline. No applications will be accepted after that date.

If your project involves municipal property, state procurement laws apply. Please review technical assistance information, Do the State's Procurement Laws Apply to CPA Projects? 

Before submittal of your application, please review it for completeness. Use the Submission Requirements Checklist to make certain all required materials are included with your application form. Seek guidance from the Community Preservation Coordinator if you are unsure about whether an attachment is required. Incomplete applications may be delayed or denied funding.
