Seasonal Staff
The City of Watertown’s Recreation Department has multiple seasonal opportunities available. These opportunities are perfect for motivated individuals interested in making a positive impact in the Watertown community. These opportunities are ideal for college students, aspiring teachers or coaches, and active individuals interested in sharing their passion for athletics, STEM education, arts and crafts, and many other activities with people of all ages. Interested candidates must be available to work approximately 8-15 hours per week depending on their position, including after school and weekends. The Recreation Department hires for a variety of positions for five different programming sessions. Please see positions and sessions listed below. When applying, applicants must designate which position and which session they are interested in.
Summer: May 31 - August 31
Fall I: September 1 - October 31
Fall II: November 1 - December 31
Pequossette Summer Job Openings-Closed for 2025
The Watertown Recreation Department is no longer accepting applications for the 2025 calendar year for part-time staff positions at our Pequossette Summer Program.
For 2026, applicants must be entering the 9th grade (Fall 2026) and be at least 14 years old to be considered.
Deadline for applications was Friday March 28, 2025.
The 2026 application will be available in early 2026.
