The Informational Meeting was Held- Additional Tree Removals-City of Cambridge

On January 17, 2018, there was an informational meeting held from 6:30- 8:30 PM, by the City of Cambridge Water Department who is planning to remove five (5) more trees along the Cambridge Aqueduct, which approximately follows the Linear Path. 

The trees to be removed are near Waverley Ave. and Summer St.

Tree Hearing Updates

Any written submissions regarding any of the item(s) on this Tree Hearing List are due in the Conservation Office no later than 10:30 am on the morning of the hearing, one hour prior to the actual hearing itself.  All written submissions will be taken to the tree hearing and read into the record by the Tree Warden.

Tree Care during critical drought periods

Last year, Watertown was in a drought period during the summer months and drought conditions call different ways of prioritizing how you use your water in the green spaces around your home.  Although we are out of the drought period here in Watertown, for information on how to care for your trees during drought conditions please see these two important articles below.
